स्वेटर....और सपनें।

कितना आसान होता है सपने बुनना। बड़े-बड़े, सुनहरे-से सपने। बेहतरीन से बेहतरीन। सच में मुझसे बेहतर सपने कोई बुन ही नहीं सकता। बचपन से बुनती आ रही हूं। बुनकर हूं मैं, एक उम्दा। तुम भी। सभी हैं, अपने-अपने दायरों में। लेकिन उस बुने हुए सपने का स्वेटर कौन पहन पाता है?

बुनना बड़ी चीज़ है, लेकिन उस सपने को हूबहू उसी अंदाज़ में ओढ़ना बड़ी बात। और जो ये बड़ी बात कर दिखाता है, वो बड़ा बन जाता है। लेकिन कभी-कभी हमारे हाथों से वो बुना जा रहा सपनों का स्वेटर पूरा नहीं हो पाता। अधूरा रह जाता है। और हम दूसरे कामों में लग जाते है। बहुत आम बात है। लेकिन एक अच्छा बुनकर वही होता है जो उसे बुनकर पूरा करे, समय मिलने पर। हो सकती है फिटिंग सही न आए अब, लेकिन किसी और के तो काम आएगा, आपका बुना हुआ स्वेटर। अधूरा छोड़कर क्यों उस स्वेटर को, उस सपने को बरबाद किया जाए। 

चलो उस सपनें को, उस अधूरे स्वेटर को बुनकर पूरा किया जाए।

देखते हैं...!

लॉकडाउन और प्रकृति।

कितना अच्छा है न... 

ये शांत वातावरण

न गाड़ियों की पीं-पीं

न वो सरदर्द बढ़ा देने वाले हॉर्न

आज लोगों की 

चहल-पहल भी नहीं

एकदम शांत.... उन्मुक्त। 

बाहर बैठने पर आज 

हवा की सरसराहट 

महसूस हो रही है। 

सुनाई दे रहा है 

वो पत्तियों का झड़ना। 

अच्छा हाँ, पतझड़ आ गया शायद। 

देखो तो..., 

कल तक कुछ 

होश ही नहीं था।

पता नहीं कल तक 

कहाँ व्यस्त थी

घर के बाहर बगीचे में लगे 

इस मेहंदी के पेड़ में 

एक छोटी-सी चिड़िया आती है

कई सालों से। 

शायद उस पुरानी चिड़िया की कोई 

नई पीढी़ होगी। 

आज इसका नाचना और 

गुनगुनाना भी

साफ़ सुनाई दे रहा है। 

वो अंदर बंधी गाय का 

पूँछ पटकना, 

गली के कुत्ते का भाऊँ-भाऊँ

सब बड़ा सुरीला लग रहा है। 

पता नहीं क्यों? 

आज इयरफ़ोन्स लगाने की भी 

जरूरत नहीं पड़ी। 

ये खामोशी....संगीत से ज्यादा 

अच्छी लग रही है आज। 

और पता है सबसे अच्छी बात 

है कि ये किसी गम की 

खामोशी नहीं है। 

सब शांत हैं... 

प्रकृति के सम्मान में। 

थोड़ा रूठी हुई है हमसे वो। 

चलो कोई बात नहीं। 

आज मौका देकर उसको भी

उसकी सारी बातें सुनते हैं। 

चुप-चाप। 

जब कह लेगी जब अपनी 

सारी दिक्कतें, 

सारी परेशानियां, 

तो मान जायेगी। 

है तो प्रकृति ही, नारी का स्वरूप। 

वात्सल्य, दया और 

करूणा का प्रतिबिंब। 

थोड़ा समय दो.... 

ये सब कुछ ठीक करना जानती है। 

हम करें न करें, प्रकृति अपने प्रेम का पात्र 

हम सबको मानती है। 

Women and What if?

Take yourself in the backdrop when you have watched the great Epic, Mahabharata, as a film or as a TV serial. Remember that episode when the Princess Kunti leaves her beloved son, Karna just because of the shame of this judgemental society.

What if being a single mother wasn't considered a shame at that time? What if an unmarried woman had the same place and authority like that of a married one? Or to be more precise, like that of a man? 

What if Kunti had put up the condition before Prince Pandu, that she will marry only if Pandu and his family accepts her son, Karna too! What if Kunti had not married to anyone and just raised her child Karna with full dedication. After all she was a princess, what else she needed!

Actually these 'What if' were neither acceptable then, nor now!....,just for the females. Males 

don't have to deal with these 'What if'. That is 

our inherited tradition and part of culture. 

The story of Mahabharata would have a much 

different if these discriminations would have not been there. 

Most of the chaos and disturbances in the society was and is only because of the injustice against women. Nothing else! 

Lockdown

क़ैद तो सदियों से हो ज़ालिम तुम। 

फ़कत एहसास आज हुआ भी, 

तो क्या कर लोगे? 

Don't become an advertisement!

There's a difference between praising the government and advertising the government. When we are driven by our blind beliefs of religion, caste, culture, hatred against specific groups, we automatically become advertising puppets, that to for free!! And we often confuse it with awareness.

Whereas when we figure out the actions of government on the basis of comparison with other democracies of the world, on the basis of ideals of our Constitution and above all on the basis of human values, we genuinely praise the good efforts of the government and do healthy criticism as and when required. Same implies for the opposition too. That shows our real awareness and responsible behaviour. 

Don't just become marketing tools, people will skip you like they skip advertisement on television and YouTube.
